The chart data in the BTC Backtesting app is based on XBTUSD from the BitMEX exchange. BitMEX has announced that it will be shutting down permanently on September 23, 2026. Due to the declining trading volume, chart data has already become unreliable, making it difficult to provide accurate data.

As a result, chart data updates will end as of July 2026. Existing data will remain available for use.

The app will also be removed from the App Store. If you have previously downloaded it, you can still re-download it from your purchase history.

Thank you for your support over the years. The FX version will continue to be available.

We have been subscribing to data from a service called kaiko.com for BTCUSD, but their contract plans have changed, resulting in a tenfold increase in the minimum fee.

We also reached out to Coinbase, the original source, and they require a similar price range. Therefore, we have decided to discontinue the provision of BTCUSD.

We have suspended the app's availability in several countries. This decision has been made in order to strictly comply with regulations such as PDPA (Malaysia). Until we have a complete understanding of the laws, we have chosen to halt the app's availability.

We have increased the price of our app. The reason for this is that an excessively low price can be seen as suspicious. We have conducted research on general apps and set the price as reasonably as possible to avoid any sense of discomfort.
